      Celebrate leap year with good eats, fine brew and a great talk by Stephanie Douma that will highlight the importance of collaboration between earth scientists, toxicologists and decision makers.  Join us February 29th to learn how earth sciences modelling tools can be used to prevent health risks, predict health outcome, and provide ongoing health protection to Canadians.

      Socializing, food and drink orders begin at 5:00 pm, the talk begins at 6:00 pm.

      Join us on Friday June 22nd, 2012, for the Laurentian SETAC’s 17th Annual General Meeting & Conference, which will be held at Trent University, Peterborough, ON.

      This year’s theme is “Fate, Exposure, and Toxicity of Chemicals in the Environment”. We are pleased to have Dr. Don Mackay, Dr. Gladys Stephenson and Dr. Paul Helm as our plenary speakers, each addressing this theme with examples from their own experience.

      Presenters will share their latest research on a wider range of topics in both platform and poster presentations. The program for June 22nd also includes student awards for best poster and platform presentations, as well as a post-conference social.
