Join us at our very first Lunch and Learn event as we hear from Marco Pagliarulo, discussing Lead toxicity reference values (TRVs) and the state of lead risk assessments in Ontario.
Marco Pagliarulo, M.Sc., is a Senior Regulatory Toxicologist with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) with over 20 years of experience, specializing in human health risk assessment (HHRA) and human toxicology. He leads a program in Ontario to select toxicity reference values (TRVs) for use in HHRAs and for setting or informing criteria for soil and other environmental media. In 2023, Marco was honoured to receive an MECP Recognition Award for being a go-to expert in assessing health risks from exposures to contaminants in the environment. On the side, Marco has a passion for gardening, particularly with native plants.
