Dear Laurentian SETAC Members and Friends,
We are currently accepting nominations for members to join the L-SETAC Board of Directors. There are four board members who are rotating off the L-SETAC Board of Directors this year, three members at large and 1 student representative.
This is a great way to get involved with Laurentian SETAC and have an influence on the direction and activities of the chapter. We ask that successful regular board member candidates serve a 3-year term and that student representatives serve a 2-year term.
Our two student representatives serve their 2-year terms staggered every other year, to facilitate training and knowledge transfer, so this year’s student rep will have a peer to mentor them this year, and then next year that mentorship role will be transferred to this year’s elected student rep.
You do not need to be nominated by another member. If you are interested in joining the board, please feel free to nominate yourself. Details about the duties of a board member and instructions for the nomination process are found at the links below.

Laurentian SETAC is a completely volunteer driven organization. We are the most active chapter in all of SETAC North America. This would not be possible without the commitment of our members who are serving on our various committees and Board of Directors. Please consider bringing your skills to the board and making L-SETAC even better!
