Picture A Scientist Film Screening & Discussion


Greetings Laurentian SETAC, To highlight the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, L-SETAC’s Diversity in Science Committee is thrilled to invite you to join us from the comforts of your own home for a special screening of the film 

Picture A Scientist, followed by an engaging discussion. Picture a Scientist chronicles the experiences of several women pursuing careers in science, and offers perspectives on how to make science more diverse, equitable, and open to all. The film was an official selection of the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival. We hope that the film and the discussion that follows will foster new perspectives on how we can all contribute to making science more equitable, diverse and inclusive.
